A prisoner who breaks prison rules at Asseyri Prison is usually transferred to another prison, while at Maafushi Prison; the prisoner can be:
- Moved to another unit without his/her privileges (TV, DIVX player, revoked of buying stuff from canteen, visits, phone calls etc)
- Revoked of yard time
- Change security category
- Kept in isolation for a specific time
